Student life and a scrappy round up...

As I said on my post yesterday, I haven't posted in ages! Mainly due to the fact that my studies have been really full on! I don't often get spare time and when I do we tend to have days out or catch up with friends.

This has had a knock on effect and I have scrapped a lot less too. Which is a shame, I really miss it and miss my scrappy friends too. We have completely fallen in love with our little Minnie too, often swapping scrap time for walking the dog around the lake time! This weekend we're away in a caravan with our best friend and Minnie's dog best friend too, so that'll be great fun, my scrap friends will be ashamed we've had her for 16 months and I haven't 'scrapped' her once! Ooooops!

This year, I will hopefully finish my Degree and become a Nurse, I've just got to hope there is a job available where I want to go at the right time. Fingers crossed x

I have done a little bit of scrapbooking in my Disney album (as my instagram followers would have seen) but as my scrap room hasn't been used much, its just gotten into a big mess and I'm scrapping on my kitchen table for convenience, which also means a lot less supplies.

Over the past two years of study, I may of done about 10 pages which is a massively small amount for me! Some Saturday evenings I could churn out 3!!! Hahaha!

This smaller 8x12 album is about our 'solo trips' to DLP, scrapping Disney is my favourite, bright, colourful and full of fun! As you know we're big kids! Once I'm qualified I don't think we'll visit DLP very often, our plan is to see all the Disney lands around the World and get some of our bucket list ticked off!

I'll be back soon with some Disney scrapping, as I'm taking part in Shimelle's latest class, which you can find here

Happy scrappy

Year Two complete ... roll on Year Three

The first uni year has absolutely flown by! But my second, wowsers! Where did it go?

I've had a great two years, stressful at times but my new friends have been complete rocks and we've all supported each other. I've made some new friends for life. I'm so pleased to have done this course. I was initially apprehensive leaving a full time job that I loved but Nursing is just brilliant!

There have been up and downs but getting the results that I'd passed everything was amazing! It's worth all the hard work! My placements, as I said before, have been great.
I've been on a busy surgical ward, experiencing all aspects of care from admissions to being in theatre to recovery and discharge. It was an awesome learning curve. I've been to a walk in centre, I saw sooooooo much from basic health care to life threatening emergencies. I've been on an Oncology Ward and Endoscopy outpatients too as well as many other days in other units, or visiting specialist Nurses.

The teams I've worked with have been excellent, we are lucky to have such a fabulous NHS.

I've kept up my Disney love and bought plenty of stationery... a must for students ;)
I started writing this a year ago... I just hope I have some followers still otherwise me blabbering on is pointless! Hahaha
